about
Hey Sweaters,
Sorry we've been quiet for so long. The truth is, we have been decided to part ways as a band. We have all begun to explore new directions in life which has led us to put SWEAT to rest.
Ever since we played our first show in 2015 we have received so much love and are forever grateful!. We are so fortunate to have played for you and shared our music with you. Big love to everyone we've shared a stage with, who's seen us play, who has ever listened to a SWEAT tune, and to everyone who has supported us in any way! Robben is still kicking it in Montreal and has just released a new album under the name "The Forties". Georgia moved back home to New Jersey to focus on her solo project ggpeach and is making her way to the Los Angeles any moment now! Alan moved to Bangkok to teach and live the Thai Life. Jordan moved to Berlin last year and still hasn't learned any German.
We recorded a full album in late 2017 but after a lot of consideration we decided not to release it. Buuuttttttt you can still get a taste of those tunes as Robben and Georgia released a few of them under their respective projects.
But of course we wouldn't say goodbye without leaving a little something behind for you. We have decided to share with you one last song appropriately titled "For You" You can listen to it here and of course you can listen to everything else there from our past releases.
RIP SWEAT 2015-2019 <3
Love,
Georgia, Robben, Alan, and Jordan
